Before Lustre 2.10.1 GA IML has been using Lustre Jenkins builds. These builds include zfs rpms that IML uses. In the Lustre download site, we don't have these same rpms in tow, so installing with ZFS fails. This is a request to add those same zfs rpms to the download site, or failing that, someone to sign off that they are ok with us shipping IML 4.0 against a lustre jenkins URL. |

Oh I understand. The following lack the same ZFS rpms that build.hpdd.intel.com has available: |

To be clear, what we would like to see added to the download repo are the zfs-0.7.1-1.el7.x86_64.rpm and spl-0.7.1-1.el7.x86_64.rpm RPMs that are currently available in the 2.10.1 Jenkins build, openly downloadable without authentication. These would be the parallel RPMs that we got permission to distribute with IML 3.x because they are the userspace RPMs only. This would imply inclusion of the dependent userspace libs: libuutil1-0.7.1-1.el7.x86_64.rpm libzfs2-0.7.1-1.el7.x86_64.rpm libzfs2-devel-0.7.1-1.el7.x86_64.rpm libzpool2-0.7.1-1.el7.x86_64.rpm |

Then I think that should be fine |

While we are here, shouldn't spl-dkms-0.7.1-1.el7.noarch.rpm and zfs-dkms-0.7.1-1.el7.noarch.rpm also, uncontroversially, be in the download repo since they are by definition source code only? |
