Description

Every Lustre tests for 1_8 starts with the next error message:
awk: cmd. line:1: fatal: cannot open file `/etc/modprobe.d/Lustre' for reading (No such file or directory)

Recreation:
1) check if there is no modprobe.conf file at the /etc/ directory
2) cd lustre/tests
3) ./llmount.sh

Peter, this issue exists in 1.8 only and fixed in 2.x.

Since there is already a patch for 2.x (~~LU-506~~) I've asked Yang Sheng to port it into 1.8.

If this will not be done in close time I'll port the fix from ~~LU-506~~ to 1.8 and attach it on review here.

mrp-480 was created to port changes from Yang Sheng (~~LU-506~~) into 1.8
