I was just doing a quick test on DoM striping on a directory, and found something strange with the output of lfs getstripe. I created a PFL default layout on the directory and then copied files there. They all seem to show the lmm_layout_gen: 0 and a non-zero lmm_stripe_offset: field for the DoM components: lcm_layout_gen: 4

It seems like lmm_layout_gen: should always be non-zero for PFL components, and lmm_stripe_offset: should be zero, or not even printed for DoM components? |
