Getting error May 10 16:55:31 r585i2n9 kernel: [1525996531.259303] LustreError: 16b-c: PBS_JOBID value too large for JobID buffer (32)
The job id in this case was 3861053[112].pbspl1.nas.nasa.gov #define LUSTRE_JOBID_SIZE 32 May be too small. |

There is no possibility to increase the JobID buffer size, as this would break the RPC protocol. This message is mostly informative to tell you that the JobIDs may not match exactly, though I see it should be changed from LustreError: to just Lustre:. In any case, the PBS_JOBID is only one character too short in this case, and does not lose any uniqueness. |
