| Description |
|
In the 2.7 mount.lustre.8 manual page, the "acl" is listed as a client option, but this is a legacy option that has since been removed. There is no need to specify "-o acl" on the client. The "-o acl" option on the MDT mount command controls whether POSIX ACLs are enabled on all of the clients, and the clients themselves have no choice in the matter, so that permissions are enforced uniformly across all clients. |
