  1. checkout Lustre source git://git.whamcloud.com/fs/lustre-release.git, branch b1_8
  2. Follow the manual (downloaded from lustre.org) on installing Lustre 1.8 from source.
  3. Build rpms,
  4. rpm -ivh lustre-modules-1.8.5.54-2.6.18_194.32.1.el5.lustre18_201103040823.x86_64.rpm
  5. The message below is returned:

This is already addressed by Brian in LU-75 (Gerrit change 260).

Yes, indeed. change 260, but the Jira issue is LU-85.

This Issue is specific to branch b1_8.

LU-85 appears to be specific to master branch/2.1.

I suggest this issue be re-opened until the patches from LU-85 are ported across.
