 Description

http://doc.lustre.org/lustre_manual.xhtml#dbdoclet.lfsmkdir specifies that enable_remote_dir can be used to control whether remote sub-directories can be created off of any MDT. However, the control appears to have been removed with LU-3537, but the interface wasn't removed. When this code changes, an LUDOC update will be necessary.

As far as I can see, LU-3537 is only removing the restriction on cross-MDT rename and cross-MDT hard links. The enable_remote_dir parameter still exists and is checked in the code where cross-MDT operations are performed.

I've pushed a patch to clean up the code a bit to make the function naming consistent with the tunable names.
