This test failure was introduced by ~~LU-993~~ landing, because test_51c() is only run with SLOW=yes, and the newly added test_51ba() was deleting all of the subdirectories that test_51c() was also expecting to delete.

The landing of ~~LU-993~~ was breaking every sanity.sh test run for master (with SLOW=yes) since it was landed. It is important to try and catch/fix this kind of issue earlier (it took a month to find and fix this simple problem). Otherwise, the confidence in the test system decreases, and people (including myself) tend to assume that test failures can be ignored.
