 Description

During downgrade test, I met this problem,

[root@client-15 tests]# ls /mnt/lustre/
ls: cannot access /mnt/lustre/d0.upgrade-downgrade: No such file or directory
d0.upgrade-downgrade

what I did is following

1. setup and start Lustre 1.8.x filesystem
2. extract a kernel tarball into a Lustre test directory
3. shutdown the entire Lustre filesystem
4. upgrade all Lustre servers and clients at once to Lustre 2.x
5. start the entire Lustre filesystem
6. extract the same kernel tarball into a new Lustre test directory
7. compare the old and new test directories (no difference)
8. run auster test suite

Clean downgrade

9. setup and start Lustre 2.x filesystem (upgraded from Lustre 1.8.x)
10. extract a kernel tarball into a Lustre test directory
11. shutdown the entire Lustre filesystem
12. downgrade all Lustre servers and clients at once to Lustre 1.8.x
13. start the entire Lustre filesystem
14. extract the same kernel tarball into a new Lustre test directory
15. compare the old and new test directories (no difference)
---found this problem.

The attachment is the console message from the MDS node.

I got this problem only once, it may not reproduce.
