Environment

Ubuntu 14.04. and 16.04. with Kernel series 4.4.0

Description

The current Ubuntu ldiskfs kernel patches only work until Kernel 4.4.0-73.

This ticket is about updating the patches to work with Kernel revisions 113 up to 143 (= current as of 2019-03).

Our Ubuntu efforts for future community releases are focused on Ubuntu 18.04. Anyone wanting to run an older release like 14.04/16.04 would probably also want to run an older Lustre version

Thanks for your concern.

But, since we need the changes internally anyway, it is not a lot of extra-effort to just do the "git push" when we're done.

The Ubuntu 14/16 patches were removed from master in patch https://review.whamcloud.com/38139 "LU-12477 ldiskfs: last cleanups".
