From time to time, I can see BRW to missing obj error on MDTs with DOM: fir-md1-s2: Mar 26 10:45:33 fir-md1-s2 kernel: LustreError: 90902:0:(mdt_io.c:442:mdt_preprw_write()) fir-MDT0003: BRW to missing obj [0x28000f666:0xca48:0x0] fir-md1-s2: Mar 26 10:48:36 fir-md1-s2 kernel: LustreError: 91887:0:(mdt_io.c:442:mdt_preprw_write()) fir-MDT0003: BRW to missing obj [0x28000f7a6:0x1bfa:0x0] fir-md1-s2: Mar 26 10:48:38 fir-md1-s2 kernel: LustreError: 91726:0:(mdt_io.c:442:mdt_preprw_write()) fir-MDT0003: BRW to missing obj [0x28000f666:0xd1a1:0x0] fir-md1-s2: Mar 26 10:49:05 fir-md1-s2 kernel: LustreError: 91846:0:(mdt_io.c:442:mdt_preprw_write()) fir-MDT0003: BRW to missing obj [0x28000f52a:0x98bf:0x0] fir-md1-s2: Mar 26 10:53:48 fir-md1-s2 kernel: LustreError: 91423:0:(mdt_io.c:442:mdt_preprw_write()) fir-MDT0003: BRW to missing obj [0x28000f7bb:0x6d61:0x0] Any idea of what is causing this, is it just a warning? Note: we haven't noticed any real issue, I am just wondering. Thanks! |

That may happens when DOM files are deleted, the object on MDT is deleted much quicker than on OST so client may do data flush for already deleted object. That is handled also in https://review.whamcloud.com/34071 |
