When the client is evicted by MDS, the granted WBC EX lock will be discarded on the MDS. After the client reconnects to MDS, we need to reintegrate the cached data protected by the cached WBC EX lock on the client, give the solution when the conflict happens. During conflict check, we could use the version number used by COS (Commit On Share) to do a quick check whether a directory was modified before and use the layout generation and data version to check whether the file content was modified. |
