| Description |
|
The warning message printed by lfs_migrate is outdated since about Lustre 2.7, and should only be checked/printed if falling back to rsync. There should also be sanity tests added for "lfs migrate" with concurrent open/read+migrate and open/write+migrate (if they don't already exist), also with --block and --nonblock options and data verification afterward to ensure proper behavior. |

Also note that "lfs migrate" man page and usage message reports that it can be run on a directory, but it only works on individual files. I'm not sure if that is a regression in the code, or the man page is wrong and that never worked, but it should be made consistent. |
