Could you please take care of this? I would start with b1_8, then b2_1, then master just because of upcoming release schedules.

Thanks

Peter

Will server side support of RHEL6.2 be done for b1_8

Comment by Peter Jones [ 02/May/12 ]

We have no plans to add this at the moment - the kernel refresh for b1_8 would be client only.

If I did the port would whamcloud be willing to test it and support it? This would be after the 1.8.8 release.

Thanks for the offer. To be honest, actually creating the patches is not the biggest overhead to further extending our support matrix on b1_8. If someone really needs to RHEL6 servers then I would recommend that they use the upcoming 2.1.2. It would be easier for us to accelerate that release than to start extending our support matrix yet further.
