 Description   

Can lnet route a client with 2 hops between client and server.

client(o2ib1) <–> (o2ib1) rtr1 (o2ib2) <–> (o2ib2) rtr2 (o2ib3) <–> (o2ib3) server

Mahmoud, I believe that the multi-hop routing is possible, and is in use in some sites.

Yes it should be able to. A config like this:

Client:
lnetctl route add --net o2ib3 --gateway hop1@o2ib1

HOP 1:
lnetctl route add --net o2ib3 --gateway hop2@o2ib2

HOP 2:
lnetctl route add --net o2ib1 --gateway hop1@o2ib2

Server:
lnetctl route add --net o2ib1 --gateway hop2@o2ib3
