 Description   

I just tested on lustre-2.2 with LU-1201 patches. http://review.whamcloud.com/#change,2276 (patch set6) on Dell R620 which is Intel Sandybridge server. Once MDS mounts the mdt on MDS, it got the kernel panic. (kernel BUG at crypto/api.c:336!)

This is new instalaltion testing, no upgrade from previous version. crc32c_intel is loaded, but loaded or not loaded don't matter. Tested on both cases.

Do I understand correctly that this problem only occurs when testing the unlanded patches? If so, then I think that it would be better to close this ticket as a duplicate of LU-1201 and give that patchset a -ve review in gerrit so that it is not landed until these problems are resolved.

yes, I believe LU-1201 is not landed in any branches. this is just testing on lustre-2.2 with LU-1201 patches.
Ok, I will file on this problem on LU-1201 as an test result and problem during testing.
