 Description   

My build of lustre client 2.12.5 for SLES15 SP2 and MOFED 5.2 failed at configure:

checking whether to use Compat RDMA... no
configure: error: bad --with-o2ib path

If only replace MOFED 5.2.1 with MOFED 5.1.1, build would succeed.
'config.log' is attached.

You probably need the first post-2.12.6 patch landed to b2_12 - https://git.whamcloud.com/?p=fs/lustre-release.git;a=commit;h=f710782156ec21a8a69d7f12a9e7de1bde02c22b

Hi Jay,
Besides the above patch mentioned by Peter. Patch https://review.whamcloud.com/41303 is also needed for Lustre 2.12.x.

Does the patch in #41303 fix a bug affecting only AARCH64?

The pointer from Peter did solve the compilation problem.
We do not have AARCH64 devices in house, so I do not plan to pick up #41303 now. It should be in my next rebase to b2_12.
