IIRC, we were advised by upstream (i.e. OFA) that we should be using the iscsi provided by the kernel when we found problems building various parts of the OFED stack. See http://bugs.openfabrics.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1764. |

That information seems to be a little bit old. http://review.whamcloud.com/#change,3049 I've tested lbuild with "--with-srp-mod" to latest OFED (OFED-1.5.4.1) on RHEL5.7 and RHEL6.2's kernel with master branch and compiling of kernel-ib was no problem. |

When using external OFED it is not possible to use the inkernel srp module, we currently patch lbuild to build srp as part of the OFED build. |

Is there any chance of this being backported to the 2.1 branch? Currently can't use SRP on the 2.1 branch using the whamcloud built rpms: ib_srp: disagrees about version of symbol ib_unregister_client |
