 Description   

we saw the kernel panic on the client (see attached console message), it was close to bug 22230, but it seems to be no updates so far.
The Lustre version is 1.8.4 and client's kernel is 2.6.18-128.7.1.el5.

could you please investigate this issue?

do you have extra logs, core dump?

attached is /var/log/messages just before doing the kernel panic.
we have no crashdump at this moment, sorry.

Bobijam,

Please have a look at syslog which I posted here? The customer saw similar issue on the another client. Is this related to 22230? if so, you can see crachdump and syslog which someone posted before.

i think it's related to 22230, while I can't access the crashdump and the strace log doesn't reveal the root cause.
