The Gemini LND driver for cray currently performs many task with some basic thread support but this driver does not total take advantage of the modern multicore systems that are present today in cray nodes. To improve the performance of this driver the SMP improvements of Lustre will be apply to the Gemini LND driver. |

Initial patch is at http://review.whamcloud.com/#change,4916. Warning this is my first fray into SMP lnet programming so this is a basic first run to ensure I got the principles done right. More work will be added with time. |
