 Description

While testing on Sequoia, I noticed that Lustre appears to ignore my umask on directory creation. I assume the umask is applied by libc and it is really the "mode" permissions in a lower level mkdir() that are not correctly honored.

On the client side (ppc64), I am running an experimental tag 2.3.59-1chaos3morrone. On the server side (x86_64), we have tag 2.3.58-6chaos.

No more info at this time. Just noted in the process of other testing.

Does this happen to be zfs? If it is, then it's LU-2610.

Yes, this is with ZFS. Thanks! I'll mark this a duplicate.
