Currently, "lctl --device ... getobjversion <fid>" only works for MDTs. With FIDs on OSTs, the command interface naturally applies to OSTs as well. Implementing OBD_IOC_GET_OBJ_VERSION for OSTs, allowing the command to work with OST devices, would make certain tests (e.g., those that need to learn last transnos) easier to write. |
