 Description

If the user specifies a non-zero start OST index of a file, OST index 0 is always skipped. For example,

$ llmount.sh
$ lfs setstripe -c 2 -i 1 /mnt/lustre/foo
$ lfs getstripe /mnt/lustre/foo
/mnt/lustre/foo
lmm_stripe_count:   2
lmm_stripe_size:    1048576
lmm_layout_gen:     0
lmm_stripe_offset:  1
        obdidx           objid           objid           group
             1               1            0x1                0
             1               2            0x2                0

I have identified a simple fix which I will push to gerrit.

It's a dup of LU-2871. A similar patch has already been pushed to gerrit in http://review.whamcloud.com/#change,5554

Thanks, and sorry I didn't search Jira first.
