Following LU-2444, Coverity found a few more error handling issues in the Lustre code.

I will propose a patch to address the issues.

Although I see that you did not get an answer about the ticket tracking the reworking of the affected code, we are almost a year on now so is this ticket still relevant?

Ok, given the comments in Gerrit, these issues should have been addressed by other code modifications.
I will rerun Coverity and open a new Jira ticket if needed.
