Minh, is this 2.4.0 testing on FC18? Could you please fill in more details of how this failure appears.

So did fedora finally removed /sbin and /bin. See https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Features/UsrMove for a explanation. This will have a impact on where mount.lustre is installed.
