I think it's pointless to port to this one.
Shadow already submitted his work on rhel6.1 kernel which is newer too.

Yes, I know. But RHEL6.1 still not GA. Do we just waiting for it and regardless this update?

As Oleg commented in Gerrit:

Shadow is contributing RHEL 6.1 kernel code already which is significantly newer so no point in continuing this work.
