I'm curious what the "osp-pre" and "osp-syn" threads are for, can anybody give me a quick over view? I see nearly 800 of them on our Grove MDS, and that seems like far too many threads to be sane, so I'm curious what their purpose is. |

osp-pre is doing precreation on a specific OST, osp-syn is doing destroy/setattr to specific OST. it's done this way to keep the logic simple. |

Ahh, OK. So one per OST, that makes sense. We have 768 OSTs and I see 768 of these threads. Thanks Alex. |
