This issue relates to the following test suite run: https://maloo.whamcloud.com/test_sets/4eef6d84-9111-11e0-a0d3-52540025f9af.

"set -e" is used in mmp.sh. "umount: /sbin/mount.lustre: not mounted" caused the script to exit. The regression was introduced from LU-288.

I wonder if its better to call mount.lustre instead of mount and provide a proper path to proper mount.lustre instead?

bug 18057 has a full discussion about it. (mount.lustre need handle "-o loop" option and adding it in mount.lustre involves a significant amount of code - presumably to do it correctly and thoroughly, quotes from #comment14).
