This is a problem with the old e2fsprogs-based lfsck, and not the new LFSCK code in Lustre. There were a couple of fixes landed to e2fsprogs more recently, but it looks like the latest e2fsck 1.42.7.wc2 was running.

I don't think this is a critical problem, I'd rather spend time to land and fix LFSCK for 2.6.
