 Description

This issue was created by maloo for Bob Glossman <bob.glossman@intel.com>

This issue relates to the following test suite run: http://maloo.whamcloud.com/test_sets/602974fa-a5f9-11e3-8a1b-52540035b04c.

The sub-test test_18c failed with the following error:

(2) MDS1 is not the expected 'completed'

Two instances of this failure seen in the last day, none before that.
Occurrences don't look to have anything to do with patches under test.
I suspect something bad has just landed in master that causes this failure.

Info required for matching: sanity-lfsck 18c

It might just be that this test has become slower than before, or is slowed by running in a VM with other systems? I'm not a big fan of tests that have a specific time to complete, especially after mounting the system (which may take a variable amount of time).

It is because the LFSCK slave on OST returns -ENODEV (-19) to the LFSCK master on MDT to indicate that related target device does not involve in LFSCK or have finished and left the LFSCK, but such errno has been explained as system recovery by ptlrpc by wrong. I have made a patch to fix it in http://review.whamcloud.com/#/c/9661/

The patch has been landed to master.

I hit this error recently at https://maloo.whamcloud.com/test_sets/0d6a1964-c290-11e3-a886-52540035b04c with a build, #22955, from April 9. Build 22955 should have the patch http://review.whamcloud.com/#/c/9661/ included.
