Hi, panic on LBUG ends in a way where some registers are not properly backed up. So we loose the opportunity to retrieve the content of the registers by the time of the failure. This is why we propose to add a new 'use_bug_instead_of_panic' entry under /proc/sys/lnet, that is complementary with panic_on_lbug. To use it, panic_on_lbug must be set, and in that case we replace panic with BUG. I will attach a patch to address this code change. Sebastien. |
