I have re-based the changes to the latest kernel and they are being reviewed in house by Xyratex first. I will post the changes to the review once they have been approved here. |

These are simply a port of the changes that had already been present in rhel5 for some time. |

I have just uploaded a new set of changes to the review. This contains changes so resolve the 32 bit compilation errors. |

Have these patches ever been submitted upstream? What are the performance benefits? EL5 and EL6 are different code bases. They might not need to the same tweets. In general the few Kernel proper patches Lustre carries the better. |
