Description

When creating a file, it returned:

LustreError: 20020:0:(lov_request.c:566:lov_update_create_set()) error creating fid 0x1 sub-object on OST idx 0/1: rc = -11

on the MDS.

The problem is recovery on the OST is not finished yet.

Hi Jinshan.

My task is to merge your patch to Xyratex repo. The issue is that I'm trying to reproduce the error you reported but I don't see such error.

I'm running "sh llmount.sh", then "sh conf-sanity.sh" and wait for the test_22. Afer test_22 is finished I stop script, check log and doesn't see the reported error.

Could you help me and point what I'm doing incorrectly (or say me the Lustre version you used to obtain such error).

You can't always see this problem. This test case sometimes failed because the client didn't see the restarting OST.

Just one more question - why did you add "start_mgs" command at the end of the test_21d?

This is because if the MGS is running on a separate device, it wouldn't start and this cause following test cases failed.
