tracker for el6.6 support now that rhel 6.6 has been announced (see http://www.redhat.com/en/about/press-releases/red-hat-enterprise-linux-66-now-generally-available) we can start tracking progress on support for it in master in a public fashion. POR is to replace el6.5 support with el6.6 following our standard practice of only supporting the latest version, not many versions, of a given distro. |

linking to the latest kernel update for el6.5 since the kernel version in that update is actually an el6.6 kernel |

POR for master is changing. The new plan is to continue being able to build on el6.5 while enabling build on el6.6. This is a departure from previous common practice. |
