In order to do production builds of our e2fsprogs on SLES12 we will need a mod something like http://review.whamcloud.com/11147, In the absence of such a mod I have temporally been building e2fsprogs on SLES 12 using the existing SLES 11 spec file, slightly edited. That seems to work OK. |

The spec file I posted here is now a bit out of date. The native e2fsprogs in the latest SLES12 release, SLES 12 RC1, is now 1.42.11-1.2. If the .spec file from 1.42.9 I attached isn't good enough please let me know. |

Can this bug be moved to the LU space, so that the patch can be landed? |

As commented in http://review.whamcloud.com/12316 can't become LU until sles12 is announced, or at least made public. Just noticed that release notes dated 10/10 are now published on the SuSE website. Don't know if that is public enough to let us talk about it in public Jira tickets or not. |
