Based on current 2.6.93, building Lustre client on RHEL7 produces a warning related to GSS at configure time. checking for krb5_derive_key in -lgssapi_krb5... no checking for gss_export_lucid_sec_context in -lgssapi... no checking for gss_export_lucid_sec_context in -lgssglue... no configure: WARNING: libgssapi or libgssglue is not found, which is required by GSS. Neither libgssglue or libgssapi exist anymore in EL7, both were replaced by krb5-libs as far as I know. I tried to fix this but API function names are obviously different, not to mention that I'm not really well versed with that particular API. |

Hi Thomas Thanks for opening this ticket as we discussed. I have dropped the severity because this is an issue relating to unreleased software and S1 is reserved for supported productions sites that are out of service. Peter |

Jeremy Have you looked into EL7 support yet? Peter |

Hi Jeremy, this relates to the work that you are doing for the shared-key crypto. Since we are adding RHEL7 as a supported platform this needs to be working for shared key to be usable in Lustre 2.8. |

Just so everyone is clear, I am simply "babysitting" this ticket until it finds an owner. No work is taking place on this atm. |
