Hello, Occasionally certain files or directories will result in this error on one client. $ sudo ls -l /RSF1/Data/UVic An strace shows lgetxattr("/RSF1/Data/UVic/equipment and software purchase", "system.posix_acl_default", 0x0, 0) = -1 EIO (Input/output error) On another client this works without issue. The correct the problem we mv the file to a new name and mv back to the original name. Is this perhaps a bug? |

Any interesting messages in the logs? Is this on a client that imports the samba share and not Lustre directly? |

To date all the logs have been quiet with respect to this issue. This is on a Lustre client host which re-exports Lustre via Samba. |
