Several minor improvements have been detected during code review of the feature LU-5319 "Support multiple slots per client in last_rcvd file".

This ticket will be used to land these minor improvements.

Grégoire, is there anything to be done for this ticket, or should it be closed? I recall that there was a patch to add multi-slot support for OSP that didn't make it into 2.8.0, but I don't know whether that patch was landed or not as I can't find it in Gerrit.

I don't remember which minor improvements to multisolts feature this ticket refer to.
The multi-slot support for OSP is tracked with LU-6864, but I have unfortunately not the time to complete that work at the moment.
Anyway, I think this ticket can be closed.
