The sub-test test_1b failed with the following error:

/dev/lvm-Role_MDS/P1 failed to initialize!

test log:

Update not seen after 90s: wanted '' got 'lustre:MDT0000'
 replay-vbr test_1b: @@@@@@ FAIL: /dev/lvm-Role_MDS/P1 failed to initialize! 

Looks to be similar to LU-7428

Reopen this issue. It was closed as a dup of LU-7428, while with the patch for LU-7428 landed, still hit this error on master

server and client: lustre-master/#3350 RHEL7

This issue is quite frequent , occurring around 1-2 times a day and has occurred approx 50 times in last 30 days.

Since the patch http://review.whamcloud.com/20586/ has landed for LU-7428 this issue has not reoccured on master. Hence closing this issue as duplicate of LU-7428.
