Description

Seeing many messages in the syslog like the following:

Aug 23 17:28:44 nbp6-mds kernel: Lustre: nbp6-MDT0000-osd: FID [0x2000779c5:0x12801:0x0] != self_fid [0x2000779c8:0x1738c:0x0]
Aug 23 17:30:17 nbp6-mds kernel: Lustre: nbp6-MDT0000-osd: FID [0x2000779ce:0x13c40:0x0] != self_fid [0x2000779db:0x4d0:0x0]
Aug 23 17:30:29 nbp6-mds kernel: Lustre: nbp6-MDT0000-osd: FID [0x2000779c7:0xde64:0x0] != self_fid [0x2000779c3:0x1c3eb:0x0]

Perhaps this is similar to LU-6465, which was listed as critical and affecting version 2.7, yet may only have landed a patch for 2.8?

The counts of recent occurrences for our production MDTs are...

It is duplication of LU-8319. Here is the patch back ported from master:
http://review.whamcloud.com/22122

I think you can discard #22122. A back port has landed to b2_7_fe 7 days ago.

I did a rebase b2_7_fe 2 days ago and picked up LU-8319. It will be in next build.
