 Description

While testing LU-5050 the old configuration for my DLC stopped working and it reported the error:

[771343.391364] LustreError: 138538:0:(libcfs_string.c:466:cfs_expr_list_values()) Number of values 4 exceeds max allowed 16 [771343.391507] LNetError: 138538:0:(config.c:172:lnet_ni_alloc()) Failed to set CPTs for NI o2ib1: -22

Which is not clear what is wrong.

This fell through the cracks for me. Can you please provide your DLC configuration.

Amir, just create (export) DLC configuration with few numbers of CPTs and then reduce the count of them and try to load previous DLC configuration.

For example, create DLC configuration with cpu_pattern="" and then try to load it with cpu_pattern="N"

Question: when you configure the CPTs in modprobe and you change cpu_pattern as you mentioned, is it handled differently? or do you have to match the network CPT configuration in the modprobe configuration as well?
