This issue relates to the following test suite run: https://testing.hpdd.intel.com/test_sets/e2cdcd2e-ff93-11e6-aa1f-5254006e85c2.

The sub-test test_102n failed with the following error:

before and after xattrs of '/mnt/lustre/f102n.sanity.1' differ

This looks a lot like a repeat of LU-8129, but this was seen on b2_8_fe long after the fix from that ticket was landed; http://review.whamcloud.com/#/c/20112.

Just an update that we are still seeing this issue with interop testing for the b2_10 branch (client). For example, we see a failure between 2.10.7 RC1 clients and 2.7.22.2 servers; https://testing.whamcloud.com/test_sets/b68455cc-4306-11e9-92fe-52540065bddc.

Looking at Maloo, this doesn't seem to be a problem with master nor with b2_12.
