this just started failing. It may be due to testing on sles12 sp2, which is seldom done. May be due to something bad recently landed in master being the direct cause. |

This change added test 161d to sanity.sh. The test includes a call to 'ps -q'. |

no '-q' option on ps in sles11 either. The test will fail there too. |
