Description

I need create many Virtual interfaces for multi-tenant users,
but lustre only allow maxinum 32 NIDS per host.
==>./lustre/lustre_idl.h: __u64 mti_nids[MTI_NIDS_MAX]; /* host nids (lnet_nid_t)*/
Is it possible to expand MTI_NIDS_MAX to 512?

I believe there is already work underway to handle this properly but I don't think it is landed even to master for 2.10 yet. It may be possible to backport the reqired patch.

My mistake, I thought that the patches https://review.whamcloud.com/26693 and https://review.whamcloud.com/26694 were from ~~LU-9480~~ allowing more NIDs on a node, but that is only at the LNet level and does not fix the Lustre configuration.
