 Description   

Contract No. SFS-DEV-005 with Open Scalable File Systems, Inc., calls for a git repository. The contents of the repository is to be 'asciidoc' documents that explain the Lustre protocols for Ptlrpc. There will likely be other content as well, including figures drawn in graphviz and perhaps other formats.

This bug is for producing initial content for the new repository, which has already been created (TEI-3041). That (currently empty) repository can be checked out with:

git clone ssh://uselton@review.whamcloud.com:29418/doc/protocol

A separate ticket (TEI-3065) will add the repository to the "post message to Jira when Gerrit gets a new patch" whitelist.

In addition to new content, I will also need to initialize my local, checked-out repository so that it will "push to review" correctly.
