The manual documents the Lustre filesystem limits in both "Table 1.1. Lustre File System Scalability and Performance" and "Table 5.2. File and file system limits". This results in inconsistencies and potential confusion, and should be consolidated to a single location with a cross-reference. |

Looking at the manual more closely, one of the tables lists Lustre server limits and expected performance, while the other lists filesystem size limits (file, directory, filesystem), so they are not strictly overlapping.
