Seems that both this ticket and LUDOC-56 were missed for the Lustre 2.4.0 release - the Lustre manual currently has no information at all on how to configure a ZFS filesystem.

We could close this item as "won't fix" but I am uncertain that is the right approach. I think updating the manual mkfs.lustre command information to say how to use it with ZFS is a valuable exercise, not currently covered by existing resources.
