I would like to advocate that we completely remove the term "coordinator" from the document (and perhaps "agent" as well). From what I have read of the document, there appears to be no reason to add a new terms beyond "MDT" and "client". Those fully explain to users/administrators of lustre where to run commands. It would appear to me that "coordiantor" and "agent" are internal implentation details, and by exposing them to users we can only introduce more confusion. |
