Actually as I said this is more like a kernel issue than a lustre issue. The root cause of this issue is due to accessing mapping-&gt;nrpages w/o mapping-&gt;tree_lock held. I also suspect this issue exists in the vmscan and iput path as well.</p> <p>The right way to fix this issue is to write a kernel patch.</p> <p>seems that this will be relevant to 1.8.6 also</p>
