https://jira.whamcloud.com This file is an XML representation of an issue en-us 9.4.14 940014 05-12-2023 https://jira.whamcloud.com/browse/LU-12478 Lustre <p>At make rpms there are a couple for quirks for the current RHEL8 release.</p> <p>The new package dependencies are a bit too 'magical' in that the new package that brings in kmodtool and defines kernel_module_package_buildreqs isn't very obvious.</p> <p>Add enough fallback in the .spec file to 'BuildRequires: redhat-rpm-config kernel-rpm-macros kmod' so on failing it becomes possible to bootstrap into a working RHEL8 environment.</p> <p> </p> RHEL8 LU-12478
